Zebra Fude Brush Pen
Recently, I picked up the Zebra Fude Brush Pen that I’ve had sitting around unopened while using other tools…
I have fallen in love.
I particularly enjoy the delicate lines & bristle bounce-back as well as the ink flow. It is not waterproof, but I’m not using any watercolors or gouache on top, so no issues for me.
I still like my Pentel Arts Pocket Brush Pen and am looking forward to trying others, but the Zebra Fude Brush Pen has become the one to beat… and from it being spoken highly of by Jake Parker (mrjakeparker.com) and Skottie Young (skottieyoung.com) (see their Instagram reviews below), I’m guessing it will stay the one to beat!

Zebra Fude Brush Pen, Double Sided — Bristles / Hard – Fine (FD-502)
“Write beautiful brush lettering with the Zebra Brush Pen. It’s wonderful for writing letters and cards for special occasions as well as for making crafts. It contains a water-based dye-based ink.
This FD-502 model conveniently has two tips in one pen. One tip is made of hairs, giving you the experience of using a real brush. The hair is made of synthetic fibers. The other tip is a hard tip, which is great for those who prefer a tip that’s easy to use—it gives the feel of using a regular felt tip pen but still lets you write beautiful characters.” — From JetPens.com

Zebra’s F-301 Ballpoint Pens
FYI: I also really like Zebra’s F-301 Ballpoint Pens!
- 1qty : Zebra F-301 Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Black Ink, Medium Point, EA – ZEB27211
- 9qty : Zebra F-301 Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Black Ink, Fine Point Tip, 9 Pens per Pack Refillable Pens with Refill 0.7 mm Stainless Steel
Zebra Fude Brush Pen I’ve been using this pen a lot lately. Does great details and the ink flow is always consistent. It gives you beautiful delicate lines from both it’s tips. The larger of the two is a nylon bristle tip, and does all the heavy lifting. The smaller one is a felt tip and is great for added details. When they start to get dry you can use them for some cool dry brush effects. Not refillable, so beware. Also not waterproof. – Check mrjakeparker.com/tools (link in profile) for more of my art supplies with links to where you can buy them.
