Otomata™ is an automated cafe & retail franchise where you can relax, be you, be together, and experience & grow in your passions. QuietYell is responsible for consultation & development in naming, logo development, and ongoing brand development including brick-and-mortar retail interior design direction, website & app direction, marketing & advertising, content development, and other creative concepting (ie. products, patron technology interaction, etc.)
The term, “Otomata”, is based on the plural form of “automat,” which is “automata.” The respelling drives a palindrome-like appearance, further implying the modern simplicity this business pursues in branding, product & services offerings, and in business operations. Additionally, the “oto” and the “ata” on either side of the “m” drives a “through the looking glass” effect (ie. ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and the fantastical world beyond the mirror image) as the patron experience is intended to be like through automated products & services and the technology integration that permeates the retail space & its cloud-based offerings (media, videos, games, apps, & more).
In addition to reaffirming the name concept, the visual appearance plays upon “being plugged in” to electricity, the internet, knowledge, and community as well as the ‘explosive’ experience for patrons of Otomata.
